Factory Tour

Since 1987, Yakult Singapore has welcomed visitors for an educational tour of its
state-of-the-art plant. To date, more than 300,000 people have visited our plant, ranging from preschoolers to senior citizens, from grassroots organisations to educational institutions of all levels.

The tours are conducted at the following times and are free of charge. Each tour takes approximately 1.5 hours.

During the tour, our fully trained public relations staff will give a presentation on the background of our company and products. Following this, visitors will watch a scientific documentary on the benefits of probiotics or an animated video on the role L.casei strain Shirota plays in the maintenance of the digestive system. Visitors will also enjoy a complimentary bottle of Yakult during the presentation.

After the presentation, visitors will view our entire high-tech production process through the glass-walled viewing gallery. The glass walls were specially constructed to provide clear viewing and prevent contamination, accidents and interferences on the factory floor so that visitors can view what goes into Yakult without having to watch their steps.
