The Fight Against Suboptimal Health
Suboptimal health is a borderline state between being healthy and falling sick.
According to a survey, about 75% of the world’s population lives in this state.
Signs of chronic suboptimal health are warning signals issued by the body. Causes of suboptimal health include poor diet, lack of exercise, irregular rest, lack of sleep, mental stress and psychological stress. Suboptimal health can easily cause metabolic disorders, decreased immunity and emotional problems.
In this episode, host Evelyn Tan will be discussing with celebrity guest Priscelia Chan and Dr. Fiona Chang on topics related to suboptimal health. We will learn how to stay healthy and steer clear from suboptimal health.
Microbiologist Prof Lee Yuan Kun will explain how probiotics can help with problems like metabolic disorders, low immunity and anxiety.
Our host and guest will also be speaking with nutritionist, Fiona Chia and learn how to choose the right ingredients, while working on a healthy recipe. In addition, they will also try a latest exercise – “Yoga Wheel” and pick up some tips on staying active from a yoga instructor.
