World Branding Awards 2020-2021: Brand of the Year winner

Once again, Yakult received a Brand of the Year award as one of the world’s outstanding brands, for the fourth consecutive year.

The WBA are the principal awards of WBF which is a global non-profit organisation. Commencing in 2014, these are international awards presented to global and national brands for their work and achievements in branding. WBA has three tiers of awards: a Global Award for international brands, a Regional Award presented to brands with a strong presence across several countries in a particular geographic region, and a National Award presented to top brands in participating countries.

Awards nominees are judged on a combination of three distinct metrics: brand valuation, consumer market research, and public online voting. This year, awards were made to 400 brands across 45 countries.
